Erich Hoepner withdrew his over-extended forces of Army Group Centre on the Russian Front to save lives and under the assumption that Hitler's permission was on the way. His superior Field Marshall Kluge immediately reported Hoepner, causing Hitler's fury. Hoepner was dismissed from the Wehrmacht on the same day. Hitler then directed that Hoepner be deprived of his pension and denied the right to wear his uniform and medals, contravening the law and Wehrmacht regulations. Hoepner filed a lawsuit against the Reich to reclaim his pension. Judges at the time could not be dismissed, even by Hitler, and Hoepner won his case.
Besides the fact they both were XXXX, there are other similarities:
They both sued to prove that The Leader acted illegally:
Trump bought Mar-a-Lago located in Southern Florida in 1985 and then completed extensive renovations, which included adding a 20,000 square foot ballroom.
Trump denied the allegations and claimed that he had never met Carroll. However, Carroll provided New York a photograph of her socializing with Trump in 1987. Trump dismissed the photograph's significance (See The Big Lie).
Hitler bought a small chalet called Haus Wachenfeld, located in the Bavarian Alps in 1933, and then completed extensive renovations which included large masonry additions of a main house, an added wing, an enlarged garage, and a new terrace.
They both won thier lawsuits¹:

After winning his lawsuit, Hoepner was subsequently arrested and hung.
